Wake up!

I have been waking up early because of the time change. 5 AM is not my preference but when you’ve had your seven hours of sleep it’s time to get up.At 6:40 am this glorious gift arrived in my back yard. At 6:46 am it was gone. The sky was back to “normal.”

As I thought about the moment of the magnificent sunrise, I thought about what else am I missing in life because I’m asleep? Lord, wake me up to see all that you have for me. If I had stayed in bed and gone back to sleep I would’ve missed that glorious gift.I don’t want to miss anything God has for me. What about you? Are you asleep in life when it comes to the things of God? “This is why the Scripture says,Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from your coffin and the Anointed One will shine his light into you!” Ephesians 5:14
